Please keep in mind every person has a different opinion and viewpoint on the books and not all users may see eye-to-eye on the topics. It is vital that everyone remains respectful towards others even though they may not agree with them.

Please keep in mind there are children using the chatroom. Any swearing/cussing or instigation in the chatroom should be reported immediately. Those who fail to comply with this rule will be banned from the chatroom.
2)
Do not send any inappropriate images, videos or any other form of media.
The chatroom is intended to be used by persons of all ages. Therefore any adult or inappropriate content is prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a chat ban.
3)
Do not discuss any controversial topics outside the limits of the book you are discussing.
The chatroom is to be used preferably to only discuss topics within the confines of a book. Any discussion of politics, religion, war or other worldly matters outside the concepts of a book on this site is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a chat ban.

Do not harass any other users on the chatroom.
The chatroom is to be used for the community members of this site to interact with each other. Any harassment, stalking, flirting, instigation will
result in a chat ban. If a user asks you to leave them alone, please respect them and their privacy.

Do not cyberbully any other users.
Any form of bullying, offensive teasing, back-biting or slander is prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a chat ban. Any accounts of cyberbullying should be reported and will be dealt with immediately.

Do not start fights or heated arguments.
This website allows users to discuss and have friendly disputes about the books on this site. However, starting fights, arguments and offending other persons opinions will result in a chat ban of all users involved.

Do not catfish or impersonate other people or users
Impersonating or pretending to be other people is prohibited. Book Apocalypse values your privacy and there is no objection if you do not want to use your real name; if this is the case please create a unique username related to yourself. Usage of celebrity names is allowed.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMITTING A BOOK REVIEW
​
- Include book title, author, genre and appropriate ages (18+, ages 7-10 etc.)
- Include brief synopsis followed by full review
- Young Adult Books: At least 250 words
- Adult Books: At least 250 words
- Children Picture Books: At least 50 words
- Submit in advance to be mentioned in Newsletter
- Writer's name
- State if book is a New York Times Bestseller
